Until the Covid-19 pandemic ends please observe all Government Covid regulations, plus only fish one person only per peg; wear a face covering; carry & use hand sanitizer; allow free movement along the Thames Pathway and please do not impede it with fishing tackle.

NO NIGHT FISHING WHATSOEVER.
Herein you will find Venue information that can help you to enjoy an excellent days fishing on our stretch of the River Thames at Goring.
The Venue consists of approximately 1½ miles of fishing downstream from Goring lock; a total of 83 pegs for Members. Peg 1 is about 70 yards downstream from the end of Goring Weir's concrete mooring jetty and Peg 86 is located a little over 100 yards downstream from Brunel's railway bridge that is featured in the Venue photograph of peg 78.
SPECIMEN ROACH CUP
In 2016 the Club introduced the Specimen Roach Cup that runs from first to last day of the season. It is a Trophy competition for the highest weight Roach caught within the Season from Pegs 1 to 86 inclusive; all Club Members can enter.
FISHING TIMES & BOAT MOORING
The Goring Venue is subject to all the Environmental Agency's statutory closed fishing seasons.
**BOAT MOORING IS NOT PERMITTED ALONG OUR VENUE BANK BETWEEN PEGS 1 AND 86.**
WATER BOOKINGS ARE SUSPENDED UNTIL COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS ARE FINISHED WITH.
WATER BOOKING APPLICATIONS FOR SEASON 2021 to 2022 WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED UNTIL AFTER THE NEXT GORING FISHING CLUB AGM HAS TAKEN PLACE.
